Privacy policy

Annapolis Tools is my small CNC and 3D-printing shop. Here is plainly what happens with your data.

What this site collects directly

Nothing beyond what's needed to fulfil an order. There are no accounts, no newsletter sign-up, no cookies set by this site, and no analytics or tracking pixels running on these pages.

Orders and payment

No orders are being taken yet; every part shown on this site right now is an example, not a live listing. When orders open, checkout will be Stripe-hosted and I'll be the seller and merchant of record. Stripe will process the payment and share the order details I need to make and ship the part: name, shipping address, and items ordered. I won't store card numbers myself, and I won't sell or share order data with anyone outside what's needed to fulfil the order.

Hosting and access logs

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard access logs (IP address, request time, page requested) for security and reliability. I don't use these logs for tracking or marketing.

Search Console

I use Google Search Console to see how this site shows up in Google search, such as which searches bring people here and which pages appear. It reports on search results, not on what you do on the site, and it doesn't place anything in your browser.

Newsletter signup

The newsletter form at /newsletter/ is the one place this site collects anything, and it is the exception to any line on this page that says the site collects nothing. If you use it, I store your email address, which site you signed up on, the time, the wording of the consent you saw, your country, your IP address and your browser type. That record lives in a database at Cloudflare. I keep it because Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) means I have to be able to show that you asked to hear from me. To check that you're a person, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a short check in your browser. I use your address only to send this site's newsletter, and I don't sell it or share it. Every message will have an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me at [email protected] to delete your address and the record at any time.

Contact

If you email [email protected], I keep that message to reply to you. I don't add you to a mailing list from it.

Changes

If this site ever adds accounts, a newsletter, or any third-party service that changes what's collected, this page will be updated before that ships, not after.
