4" Vacuum Puck

Overview

The 4” Vacuum Puck holds your workpiece flat and secure using shop vacuum suction instead of clamps, screws, or double-sided tape. Set it under your material, connect a vacuum line, and get a strong hold that keeps your hands and cutter path clear.

Materials it works with

Works on any rigid or semi-rigid, non-porous-enough material that can hold a vacuum seal against the puck’s contact face:

• Solid wood, plywood, MDF, and other sheet goods
• Acrylic, polycarbonate, and other rigid plastics
• Thin aluminum and other sheet metal (with a good, flat seal)

Very porous or badly warped material won’t hold vacuum well — that’s a seal problem, not specific to this puck.

Fits your setup

• Mounting: sits directly on a flat spoilboard, MDF/aluminum worktable, or T-slot table — no permanent modification needed.
• CNC router compatibility: works with any CNC router or workbench setup where the vacuum line can reach the puck; not tied to a specific machine brand.
• Connecting to your vacuum source: the puck’s ports are 5mm hose connectors. Most shop vacs use a much larger 1.25”-2.5” hose, so you’ll need a reducer/step-down adapter (widely available at hardware stores or from your shop vac’s manufacturer) to step down to the puck’s 5mm fitting. A dedicated vacuum pump rated for this size of fitting can often connect more directly — check your pump’s spec sheet for its output fitting size before ordering.
